Benjamin R. Wilson, MD
With 40 years of computer programming experience and 28 years working in the field of medicine, Dr. Wilson has created the most advanced patient medical software for Phlebology practices to-date.
Dr. Wilson began his career in the field of computer programming when he obtained his BS in Electrical Engineering in 1970 at New Mexico State University. Immediately following, he acquired his MS in Biomedical Engineering in 1971 at the age of 20 from Arizona State University. Shortly after, he entered into the military as a US Air Force officer and was one of the youngest Captains at the time.
In 1975 Dr. Wilson began his medical career by attending USC’s School of medicine until 1979. Following this, he worked to complete his General Surgery Residency at the Oregon Health Science University from 1979-1985.
He worked as an Emergency Room Physician from 1983-1989, and practiced General Surgery from 1986-2004. In addition, he has worked in the field of Phlebology since 1991.
Vein Write has been three years in the making, and is currently used by Dr. Wilson and his staff in his Phlebology practice. His experience with Electronic Medical Records dates back to 1990. Furthermore, he is fluent in a variety of programming languages, including Fortran, Basic, Assembly Language, Pascal and Visual Basic.
Currently, Dr. Wilson resides in Salem, OR with his wife, four children, and three cats.
